The new venues on this season’s FIA European Touring Car Cup roster hold no fear for Křenek Motorsport.

That’s according to team chief Josef Křenek, who is confident that his Czech Republic-based will have little difficulty adapting to Nürburgring Nordschleife, Vila Real, Magny-Cours and Imola, which join Circuit Paul Ricard and Slovakia Ring on the ETCC calendar for 2016.

“On the logistics side, it’s no real problem, there is always enough time between the race events,” said Křenek. “Apart from Portugal, we know all the tracks we will visit. Each race will bring its own sort of challenge. In Le Castellet, we will start with brand new cars, Slovakia Ring is our home race, Nordschleife is a challenge of its own, Vila Real is a street race with double points, Magny-Cours is a new track to the team and our drivers and Imola is the final round.”

Petr Fulín and Christjohannes Schreiber will campaign Křenek Motorsport’s SEATs during the upcoming ETCC season, which begins at Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France from 1-3 April.
